Writing

"I am really struck by the clarity with which Stacey writes and the way her language feels lyrical and conversational."
Stacey is an accomplished writer and storyteller who brings a unique voice to her work from living most of her life in the South surrounded by storytellers. It's a place where colorful characters and a good story told fill your daily life.
Presently, she is writing about the spiritual nature of the transgender journey, being an elder in the transgender community, and working on her goal of publishing a book of nature essays.

Oregon Humanities Storytelling Fellowship
Stacey's writing and storytelling was recognized with an Oregon Humanities Community Storytelling fellowship, an honor she used to amplify older LGBTQ+ adult voices and stories.
